Yessss...we sailed again :) decided to give Culebrita another try to meet up with our friends on SV Adastra and SV Rover...turns out that SV Rover is actually SV Coconuts (it's a long story), so will call our friend Don's catamaran by its right name from now on...pardon the confusion! We arrived under main sail at the west side of Culebra where everybody had settled in for the day...two mooring balls are available off the beach there, but the were both taken, so we anchored...then dinghied over to SV Coconut where Don had a party going, because it was Judy's birthday! We had such a great time...met new friends Matt and Jennifer, who had come out with Don...and Terry, who is best friends with Bob and Judy of SV Adastra! We had BBQ and lots of drinks...I even got out my guitar and played a little (I only do that when I had a few wines, hahahaha)! It was so good to be with our dear friends again for a while! We went back to ORION late in the evening and had a good sleep indeed...a strong cool breeze was blowing all night which made it comfortable :)
We had a fabulous sail the next day...sailed under full sails all the way back to our mooring ball in Culebra...we would have stayed a little longer, but wanted to attend a local festival Saturday evening in town! Never a dull moment for the crew of ORION :) Stay tuned please!
